Mario, Janani, Utkarsh, and Aramis will be our tutors for outside of class tutoring sessions. Please strictly abide by the time limits set forth. Tutoring hours end asscheduled. Do not expect to get the help you want or need if you arrive with 20-30 minutes left in the tutoring session. The tutors can be extremely busy when assignments are due, which is incumbent upon all students to start working on their assignments early. During busy times, you will have to repeatedly sign-up for help if you have a lot of problems with your code. The tutors have to attend to other students. You are highly encouraged to attend as many tutoring sessions as you can especially if you are struggling with the class; however, you must come prepared with as much of your work completed as possible, and with specific questions on what you don’tunderstand. This means you’ve read the assigned material. Bring your textbook, PowerPoint slides, and demo programs.
- For Java 1 students, please make sure you’ve read the IS 2033 – Tips on Learning the Material that is posted above this schedule in Blackboard. Please code to theJava 1 Style Guide (posted on Blackboard).
- For Java 2 students, please make sure you follow Basic Coding Standards(posted on Blackboard).
